Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This policy explains what YourAdTool (“we”) stores when you use the app at youradtool.com, why, and who it's shared with. The short version: we keep what we need to run your account and your workspace, we don't sell anything to anyone, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on YourAdTool.
What we store
- Your Whop account details. When you sign in with Whop we receive your Whop user ID, name, email address and profile picture.
- Your workspace. Everything you add: products and their marketing profiles, drafts, campaigns, comments, settings, the threads the Finder saves, and the visitor numbers you enter.
- Files you upload, such as screenshots and screen recordings.
- Team and activity. Who belongs to each workspace and their role, and an activity log of changes (for example “Sam approved a draft”).
- AI usage. How much AI each workspace used each month, so we can apply the monthly allowance.
- Billing status. Whether your plan is active, which we check with Whop. We never see or store your card details; Whop handles payment.
Why we use it
- To sign you in, keep your workspace separate from everyone else's, and let the people you invite work with you.
- To provide the features you use: writing drafts, finding threads, scheduling, tracking links and showing results.
- To check your subscription and apply your AI allowance.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to keep the service secure and working.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the services below that run YourAdTool.
Services that process your data for us
- Whop handles sign-in, payments and subscriptions.
- Render hosts the app, its database and uploaded files, on servers in the United States.
- Anthropic provides the AI (Claude). When you ask for drafts or a product profile, the relevant product details, instructions and text are sent to Anthropic to write the result. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models.
When the Finder looks for threads, or when you scan a product page, our server reads public pages and feeds (such as Reddit, Hacker News and forums you add). Only search words and addresses are sent to those sites, never your account details.
Cookies and local storage
- Sign-in cookie (
adpilot_session): keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. It's signed so it can't be forged. - Sign-in safety cookie (
adpilot_oauth): used for up to 10 minutes while you sign in with Whop. - Browser storage: remembers small preferences on your device, such as light or dark mode and the product you last opened.
These are all needed for the app to work. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your workspace while your account exists, including after a subscription ends, so you can pick up where you left off if you come back. Ask us to delete your account and we'll delete the workspaces you own and your account details within 30 days. Copies in backups may remain for a short time after that until they expire.
Your choices and rights
- Download a copy of your workspace at any time from Settings (backup).
- Edit or delete your products, drafts and other content in the app.
- Ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@youradtool.com.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or South Africa), you may have further rights under local law. We'll honour them; just ask.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), sign-in sessions are signed, every request checks that you belong to the workspace you're opening, and only people you invite can see your workspace. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
YourAdTool is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
